Willien’s 40th Birthday Bash

WillienFamily and friends came together at Creative Talents in Vereeniging for a colourful Indian feast in celebration of Willien’s 40th birthday. It was an evening filled with fun and special memories.

Although Saturday morning started out cold and rainy in the Vaal Triangle, it ended warm and happy for Willien Smith and her loved ones. She celebrated her 40th birthday with Indian flair at Creative Talents’ functions hall in Vereeniging.

Friends and family dressed in bright Indian colours and the atmosphere was just as cheery and happy as the theme. It was clear that everyone was in the mood to have some fun, especially after such a cold and rainy day.

This occasion had all the ingredients of a successful party – The tables were beautifully decorated and a delicious aroma of flavourful curry filled the air. Guests were welcomed with delicious berry drinks and party music was playing in the background.

We were extremely excited when Willien asked us to be part of her special day and enjoyed watching guests have fun inside our photobooth and make special memories as the evening progressed.

A perfect function for a successful lady.

We truly hope that we will meet up with the Smith-family and their friends again in the future.

Saying goodbye to an only son

WG GoosenIt is always sad to say goodbye when a loved one heads overseas. We were there to help WG Goosen’s family and friends make their last special memories with this brave young man.

Although WG (or Willem as his friends call him) is not his mother’s only child, he is her only son and the apple of her eye. Therefore it came as no surprise that sending her beloved son off to Marseille in France, to become part of their army, was a sad affair for her, his father and three sisters.

Snap-Ease was invited to the farewell party in an attempt to not only lift their spirits, but also to help them capture some of their last memories together as a family. It turned out to be a beautiful evening, filled with laughter, silliness and fun.

Heartfelt emotional speeches, a family slide show and Karen Zoid’s, As musiek begin speel, formed the backdrop for the more serious and personal part of the evening, while party music graced the scene when it was time to grab a prop and strike a pose in our booth.

WG was a great sport and went to great effort to ensure that he got photographed with everyone that is dear to him. And we hope that our specially designed post cards, that hold these last memories found a special place in his suitcase to keep him in touch with his loved ones when he gets lonely overseas.

We truly hope that this brave young man returns home safely and that we will be able to be part of the memories this loving family makes together in the future.

A day of fun with Medscheme Vereeniging

Medscheme

Medscheme Vereeniging’s first Social Club Bazaar was not only great fun, but also a huge success. Snap-Ease was honoured to be a part of this special event.

The staff at Medscheme Vereeniging dedicate their lives to ensure that their clients not only get the correct medical care, but that claims and queries are also resolved quickly and professionally. And as a reward for their loyal service and hard work, the company decided to spoil them with a special day – filled with delicious food, beautiful handmade items, competitions, fun activities and some silliness with one of our photobooths.

According to Jana Potgieter, one of the organizers and members of The Social Club, the main aim of the day was to give employees the opportunity to relax and be a part of the activities that the club has to offer. “The Social Club has one activity each month, but this was the first bazaar and hopefully one of many more to come,” she says.

Other reasons for the The Social Club’s activities are to raise funds for the year end function in December as well as to market the branch and this is not always an easy task. “You have to be creative, work well as a team and persevere, even when staff are reluctant to take part in the monthly activities. Luckily we work well together and each member (there are five) of the club can always be depended on to do their part for the common cause.”

After spending the day with the employees at the Vereeniging branch, it was clear that this group of people only have care and respect for one another and it is heart-warming to know that they are the team, working behind the scenes of well-known medical aids like Bonitas and Fedhealth.

We hope that we will be able to spend some more time with them again in the future.
